Isn't it cold today with the wind coming from the North East. Mom reckons we'll see snow this winter. Hasn't she heard of global warming? She was brought up in the country and her family have always been country folk. I swear that she has grass growing in her hair at times.
Foundation cadets was pretty routine today, though the film and discussion session was about the plans by the government if the City of London is hit by a terrorist dirty bomb. Pretty scary stuff really. We are going to be trained and do test exercises to do our own part in the rescue if that really happens. The really frightning part is the very limited amount of resources available to the government if things do go pearshaped.
